Operation Ditch Sprint and Comcast and Operation Chase Sucks (and needs to be out of our lives forever) are almost complete.
I ended up going with Straight Talk for my phone, because I liked the fact that I could just pick up a card if I am at Walmart - that and I am impatient and didn't want to have to wait for the other company to send me a phone. By the time I bought the phone and the first month's service, it was right around $155. So far, I really like the phone and haven't had problems with the service, but I only activated it this morning.
Yesterday I bought the SIM card activation kits for the boys phones ($6.99 each) so once those are here and activated we can add minutes with a card or online.
Yesterday I also ordered our AT&T service. The modem will be here and they will activate the service tomorrow. Once it is up and running I will take the Comcast equipment in and tell them what they can do with it.
On Saturday Marty and I drove to New Orleans and dumped a giant pile of cash on our car loan. That will be gone very, very soon.
Things are starting to take shape and I have to say, I like it!
